3D Animation Services

We create product animations that explain complex products within seconds. From assembly sequences to installation walkthroughs, our animations reduce support costs, increase customer confidence and drive sales — before, during and after the purchase.

Why product animation?

A static image shows what a product looks like. An animation shows what it does, how it works and how to use it. For complex products — furniture with folding mechanisms, windows with multiple opening modes, machines with assembly sequences — animation is the most efficient way to communicate function. A 15-second animation can replace a 10-page manual.

For marketing, product animations stop the scroll. A moving product on a landing page or social feed captures attention where a static image is ignored. For support, animations reduce tickets and returns by showing customers exactly what to do.

Types of animations we produce

Assembly animations

Step-by-step assembly sequences showing every component coming together in the correct order. Ideal for flat-pack furniture, modular equipment and any product that the customer assembles themselves. Assembly animations reduce support calls and improve customer satisfaction.

Installation animations

On-site installation walkthroughs for tradespeople and end customers. We show where every fastener goes, how parts align and in what order to proceed. Installation animations are especially valuable for construction products — windows, doors, panels and fixtures — where incorrect installation causes warranty claims.

Technical animations

Cutaway and exploded animations that reveal how a product works internally. Gear trains rotating, fluid flowing through valves, mechanisms cycling — technical animations communicate engineering quality to non-technical audiences. Perfect for investor pitches, trade shows and premium product marketing.

Marketing videos

Cinematic product launches, social media teasers and campaign-ready video content. We combine product animation with motion graphics, text overlays and brand styling to deliver videos that perform on YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and your website.

Manufacturing process animations

Visualise your production line, from raw material to finished product. Manufacturing process animations are powerful for B2B marketing, investor relations and internal training — they show scale, precision and quality control in a way that no factory tour can.

Medical and industrial animations

Specialised animations for medical devices, surgical instruments and industrial equipment. We understand sterile environments, regulatory considerations and the level of accuracy required for medical and industrial communication.

How we work

Every animation starts with the 3D model — either one we build from your CAD files or an existing asset we optimise for animation. We then rig any moving parts, define camera moves and lighting, and render the sequence to video. You review at multiple stages: storyboard, blocking, lighting test and final render.

  1. Storyboard — we plan every shot and transition
  2. Blocking — rough motion test for timing and composition
  3. Lighting and materials — final look development
  4. Render — high-quality output at 1080p or 4K
  5. Delivery — MP4, WebM and GIF formats

Why 3DINK for animation

Because we model, render and develop configurators too, your animation is not a dead-end deliverable. The same 3D model can be reused for product renders, an interactive configurator or a technical illustration — multiplying the value of your investment. One model, many outputs.

We also build interactive WebGL animations using Three.js, so your product animation can live on your website as a real-time experience rather than just a video file. Customers can rotate, zoom and explore the animation themselves.

FAQ — 3D animation

How much does a product animation cost?

A 15–30 second product animation starts from €400–1200 depending on complexity. Longer technical animations (60–90 seconds) range from €1200–3500. Assembly and installation animations with many parts typically fall in the €800–2500 range. Fixed-price quotes provided before starting.

How long does an animation take?

Short marketing animations are delivered in 1–2 weeks. Technical assembly animations with many parts take 2–4 weeks. We provide a detailed timeline with every quote, including review stages.

Can you match our brand guidelines?

Yes. We incorporate your brand colours, typography, logo animation and music into the final video. Send us your brand guidelines and we will match the style.

Do you provide voiceover or subtitles?

Yes. We can add voiceover (English, Estonian or other languages on request), subtitles and on-screen text. We work with professional voice artists and can deliver multi-language versions from a single animation.

Can the animation be interactive on our website?

Yes. We build interactive WebGL animations using Three.js that let users rotate, zoom and step through the animation themselves. This is more engaging than a video and works on any modern browser — see our configurator services for more.

What file formats do you deliver?

MP4 (H.264/H.265) for universal compatibility, WebM for web, GIF for email and social previews. 4K resolution available on request. Frame sequences (PNG, EXR) for further compositing. Transparent-background video for web overlays.
