3D Modelling Services

We transform 2D drawings, sketches, photos and CAD files into precise, manufacturing-ready 3D models. Every model we deliver is built with clean topology, accurate dimensions and production-grade detail — ready for rendering, animation, 3D printing or direct manufacturing.

What we model

Our team has years of experience modelling products across industries. Whether you need a single hero asset for a marketing campaign or a full product library for an e-commerce catalogue, we scale to fit your project. We work from reference photos, technical drawings, sketches or existing CAD data — and we can reverse-engineer physical samples into digital assets.

Product modelling

Consumer products, electronics, packaging and lifestyle goods. We build models that look right from every angle, with attention to surface quality, parting lines, fillets and material transitions. Each model is optimised for both photorealistic rendering and real-time WebGL display.

Mechanical parts and assemblies

Bolts, brackets, housings, linkages, gear trains and full mechanical assemblies. We understand how parts fit together, how they move and how they are manufactured — so the 3D model reflects reality, not just appearance. This matters when the model is used for assembly animations, exploded views or service documentation.

Furniture and industrial equipment

From a single chair to a complete furniture line, from a small machine to a full production line. We model furniture with correct joinery, hardware and upholstery detail. Industrial equipment is modelled with accurate piping, cabling, motors and structural elements.

CAD formats we work with

3DINK works with the full range of CAD and 3D file formats. We can convert between formats, clean up imported geometry and prepare models for downstream use.

Manufacturing-ready 3D assets

A model that looks good is not enough. A manufacturing-ready 3D asset has correct dimensions, sensible topology, named parts, clean normals and appropriate level of detail for its intended use. We deliver assets that you can hand to a manufacturer, a rendering studio, an animation team or a configurator developer — and they will work the first time.

Every asset includes:

Why 3DINK for 3D modelling

We are not just modellers — we are a full product visualization studio. That means the 3D models we build are designed to flow seamlessly into rendering, animation and interactive configurators without rework. You do not need to hire a modeller, then a renderer, then an animator and then a developer. One team, one workflow, one source of truth.

Based in Estonia, we serve clients across Europe and worldwide. We communicate in English and Estonian, work in your time zone when needed and deliver through secure cloud storage.

Industries we model for

Our modelling process

  1. Discovery — we review your brief, references and intended use
  2. CAD review — analyse source files for topology, scale and detail level
  3. 3D modelling — build clean geometry with named parts and UVs
  4. Client review — you check the model from every angle and request changes
  5. Optimisation — we prepare LODs, decimation and format exports
  6. Delivery — files in your preferred format, plus a web-ready GLB

FAQ — 3D modelling

Can you work from STEP files?

Yes. STEP (AP203, AP214, AP242) is our most common input format. We import, clean and convert STEP files into rendering-ready or real-time-ready 3D models.

Can you convert CAD models for WebGL?

Yes. We convert SolidWorks, STEP, IGES and other CAD formats into glTF/GLB files optimised for Three.js and WebGL. This includes topology cleanup, UV mapping and texture preparation.

How much does 3D modelling cost?

Pricing depends on complexity, detail level and number of parts. A single consumer product typically starts from €150–400; a complex mechanical assembly can range from €800–3000+. We provide a fixed-price quote before starting.

How long does modelling take?

Most single-product projects are delivered in 3–7 business days. Complex assemblies and product libraries take 1–4 weeks. We provide a timeline with every quote.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes. We routinely work under NDA with manufacturers handling pre-launch products. Your data is stored securely and never shared with third parties.
